We went there after Good Guys car show. It was later in the day and when I had called they warned me they might be out of things. So we had Reuben brisket sandwich and checked out the sides. Potatoe salad and Mac and cheese. All we very good. The staff was so pleasant. The have tons of souvenirs from magnets to purses. All reasonable and all so Arizonan. We loved and will make it in our to places to eat after the car shows at Westworld.
Forget everything you think you know about gas station food. The Thumb, nestled at the base of Pinnacle Peak, is a bizarrely brilliant, must-visit Scottsdale institution that doubles as a high-end gourmet general store and a full-service Shell station.

I've been coming to this place since they first opened and at first a barbecue is incredible. I'll be honest the barbecue is not as good as it used to be, but the Oklahoma Burger is one of the better burgers in town. But today the customer service made up for the mediocre food and the high prices. Nathaniel was great and definitely had a special experience today with really good attentive customer service. I'll take that over. Great quality food any day
