“I’m from Hawaii and the cashier Ashley was so Super FRIENDLY I thought I was in HEAVEN. She’s the friendliest person in Retail I’ve ever seen EVER! The Atlantic Cod dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli 🥦 was amazing good. This same meal in Hawaii would three times more expensive than here.“

“We love the Bison Bar & Grille. We enjoy sitting at one of the tall tables in the bar, because it reminds us of the former television show Cheers. We tend to be there twice a week. The two lovely ladies that serve as Hostess, Mixologist and Server are Mary & Jordyn. They are both wonderful. My wife prefers the BLT and the BBB (Bison Bar Burger). I also am a fan of the BBB which is the best burger in the White Mountains, as well as the Street Chicken Tacos and Chicken Wings. Rose the manager is working on a new enhanced menu. We are hoping that the Cheeseburger Quesadilla, a special last spring becomes a menu item.“

“We ordered an order to go. Told it would be ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes. Arrived in time, went to the order to go pickup sign and stood there for 15-20 minutes. 5-6 gals, all behind the counter and not one asked me if they could help me. A lady came in, behind me and was served right away. Then, a family and again, order to go right way. That’s when I said that’s enough and she grabbed my bag which was already ready and off I go. Manager needs to take control of that restaurant…“

“The food is very good, a little pricey. Nice atmosphere and the have the Cowboy Channel which I enjoy watching. It just added to thd theme and let me enjoy my favorite channel while I ate. The food will not disappoint. I highly recommend the fried Ribs they are delicious!“

I don’t get the hype: it’s a great restaurant, but in my opinion, not good enough to justify waiting 1/2 hour for a table, or illegally parking on the dollar store property. I’ll eat here in a heartbeat if I’m hungry, I drive by, and the parking lot isn’t overflowing. Unfortunately those stars seldom align.“

“Cute place! Every summer I come up to my grandparents cabin for a week to visit the beautiful weather and go fishing. I’ve been coming since I was 4 years old and we almost always make it a tradition to walk up to this ice cream shop and eat outside. They have very tasty ice cream and wonderful service. “We had our Thanksgiving meal here. One plate of the standard turkey and dressing which was excellent. And the second plate, prime rib and quail. The quail was the best I’ve ever had. The service with “Cheyeanna” was outstanding. After the meal she showed us around the Mesquite and Gibson rooms and told us some history. She suggested we stop by and speak to Bill Gibson the owner who was at the bar, which we did. Wonderful experience. We will be back in the future, even though we’re from NC.“
