This was our first time trying this place. I read reviews and noticed some were bad but thought we'd still try it for ourselves. First off our server Jessica greeted us warmly and was very attentive and funny. We both ordered steaks and mashed potatoes and a side and both came out cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed our meal and it definitely was a lot less expensive than dining in Scottsdale (obviously)! We hope when we go back again that our experience will be just as good...
If you're looking for an authentic steakhouse atmosphere, with warm food pleasantly presented, keep looking. To summarize my first and lasting impression, I'd describe it as 1/2 a step up from a cafe. As far as food, disappointed also. We had the stuffed mushrooms as appatizers. Why they would serve 3 and not 4 to two people made little sence however, they were served luke warm with one significantly smaller then the other 2. The 16 oz prime rib was a generous cut but...
My family came in the other night, the food was really good, and the service from our server was great. Overall, we had a good experience. The only issue was with one of the hostesses. She was on her phone when we walked in and didn't seem to acknowledge us right away. Thankfully, the other hostess was quick to greet us and was able to seat us right away, even though we didn't have a reservation.
