I've always enjoyed this place, & this last outing was no different. Due to staffing, it was recommended we take our orders to go. It was 40 mins before closing & storming out, my 2 teens & I asked if we could sit at a table. It was really a great experience sharing that time with my kids, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.Recommended dishes: Bibimpop w/ extra egg
Sierra Vista is a tough place for restaurants. The food at the Bunbuku is better than most. However, they have fallen on hard times with their service. Now they cater to takeout because they are under staffed. You can still sit at the tables to eat but have to get up numerous time for refills on drinks, sauces, and condiments. Not sure we will go back?

We went to get food to go and we were offered water while waiting (around 20-25mins). The waiting time isn’t too bad since we ordered seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and pork bulgogi. Was supposed to get the soft tofu stew but they didn’t have it at the time. The banchan is ok but the main dishes tasted good and authentic. The portions are lesser than what we’re accustomed to with similar price range. But the staff are very accommodating and the ambience is nice.
