The Labor and Delivery here is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Banks delivered my baby and she was fantastic. I didn't feel like I needed to advocate for anything I wanted, because she immediately respected every choice I made. Jacqui and Alex were wonderful and extremely kind and supportive. Brian with anesthesia was the best and got my IV in when my veins weren't cooperating. Every staff member was professional, kind and empathetic. The emergency room side of things is horrible. The nurse that checked me in was very dismissive and would barely listen to what I had to say.
Doctor Edward Jackman was even worst. I was trying to ask him questions and he was already out the door on his little scooter. Told me to go speak to registration.
