Honestly the best sushi I've ever had! The fish is fresh, the atmosphere is so nice, and the owners are very kind. They have a lot of delicious cooked dishes as well! I absolutely love this place, and I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys sushi/Japanese food <3
Craving sushi in the Arizona desert, we tried one place and were ready to give up. Then we found Tanuki. Excellent food, service, all of it. Call ahead and reserve a table if you can. It’s popular for a reason.
Food: The sushie rolls were sticking to each other and weren’t easy to grab with the chopstick. Sushie rolls fell apart very easily when grabbed with chopsticks or hand.
Ordered Octopus Taki for kids. The menu not the server mentioned that they put wasabi in it when they serve wasabi on the side.
I greatly enjoy Japanese sushie but me and my kids didn’t enjoy the experience.
Service: The server needed a day off. We felt being rushed to take our orders...
