The German Cafe offers outstanding traditional German food made fresh daily. The staff is friendly and takes time to explain the dishes, enhancing the overall experience. The interior is lovely and nicely decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere. The food is truly authentic and delicious, with popular dishes like Holstein Schnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel, and Schnitzel Cordon Bleu being worth trying. The potato pancakes are the best Kartoffelpuffer since Oma’s house, and the Spaetzle, as well as the potato salad, are incredible. Sides like mashed potatoes, dill cucumbers, and dumplings with onion gravy add to the meal. The cafe is a quiet, quaint, and homey place, a wonderful gem to be spoiled. It is a great spot for anyone wanting to experience German cuisine for the first time, offering excellent food and good service. The Pretzel Reuben, homemade pretzel with cheese and bacon, German potato salad, cucumber salad, potato pancakes, and Jagerschnitzel with Spatzle are all excellent and homemade. The various schnitzel are delicious, German potatoes amazing, and cucumber salad are a must have. They do not serve alcohol.
