One of my favorites during the last 24 years. I love this place's ambiance, food and people. Tanukis is one of our restaurant gems in Sierra Vista, the "must enjoy" if you are coming thiscway!
Best shrimp tempura I’ve had in the states. Did NOT expect to experience that in Sierra Vista. I knew it was gonna be good when I walked in and saw tchotchkes on the walls, soba in the menu, masago on my sushi, and an orange on my katsu curry plate…it has the feeling of real Japanese restaurant. They struggled a bit as the dinner rush grew, but I’ll be frank - I would happily drive from Phoenix to eat here again. Thanks guys
