What a gem! We didn't know what to expect going on but we're pleasantly surprised by a fun atmosphere and great food. We had barbacoa nachos and tacos. The meat was delicious. And the esquite corn was amazing. Highly recommend checking them out.
What an interesting find! Not on the main street, so would not have found it but a local had recommended it. The Pinsa dish (made with 3 different flours from Italy!) was terrific and perfect for two with a shared salad. Wish i could come back at dinnertime to check out the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
A MUST!
The dusting of seed flower (from the native desert Mesquite tree) Carlos places on the cutting pan the fired pizza is placed on, strikes your tongue with an incredible flavor (you will be pleasantly surprised what it tasted like). Your teeth bite the abundance of toppings and continue through the imported Italian sourdough flower.
Strike up a conversation with Carlos and ask him about his vision for his restaurant and its reasoned market positioning....
