“Came here months ago with girls friends I loved the vibe so much, I retuned when celebrating my partner’s birthday. Bartender/ owner were friendly conversations. Mouse the dog is a sweet boy. He admires his ball dearly so don’t expect to share lol. Pizza is so good you wouldn’t feel guilty about eating a 14” by your self! Hand tossed topped with fresh ingredients . Even warmed for left overs it was just as good! We will be visit again.“
“Beautiful restaurant with a boutique attached. I really wished I had taken pictures. The owner is very attentive to her guests. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I recommend anyone visiting Patagonia AZ make it a point to stop by The Velvet Elvis at La Mission.“
“While they do not serve pronghorn here, I found this restaurant to be nonetheless excellent. The atmosphere at this establishment is modest, yet somehow elite. It is unassuming, but in a very real sense it assumes excellency in a way that transcends Arizona culinary expectations. The pizza I ordered here was the Vera Earl pizza and verily it was very valuable. I will point out a few things about the content and form of this dish. Most importantly the beef was superb. However, the presence of dill on the pizza seemed to me superfluous and detracted somewhat from the aura of simplicity which seems to permeate this restaurant. There was also lime on my pizza which, while not entirely unwelcome, left me feeling a little confused and disoriented. Pickled onions, adorned this elegant pie, and this avant-garde decision by the chef truly impressed me. It complimented the beef and cheese very well. Pizza dough is the rock upon which the foundation of all pizza is built, and the architects of this creation are thoroughly well trained in their craft. I was amazed by the light consistency and heavenly taste of this floury base of the dish. Finally, the service was excellent and friendly, with the exception of a large house cat named Speeder who completely ignored my party and ate his own lunch while we were waiting for ours. Overall, I would highly recommend this pizza place to any parties sojourning in southern Arizona.“
