“We had a surprise birthday dinner party for my husband and everything was terrific! Our server, Gina, handled about 25 people with efficiency, humor and grace. We all ordered off the menu and our meals were served promptly, hot and De-Lish! I would not hesitate to book my next party or just dinner at Lou's. By the way, I ordered the meatloaf special and it was perfect. Hubby had the fetticine with shrimp and loved it! Salads were fresh and crisp.”

“Vegetarian options: I love the 2 chiles rellenos with the beans and rice and comes with pico de gallo, sour cream, avocado, corn, or flour tortillas. I get the rolled tacos, but I take out the meat and fill it with the cheese and avocado that it comes with. They also have quesadillas and many other options. I can't guarantee that there is zero meat in the dishes I ate.”

“Fantastic food! At first, I thought the prices were a bit steep, then I saw the ABSOLUTELY HUGE portions! Everyone was very kind, and the food was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had!”

“UPDATE.....It's only fair that I update my previous review. We decided to try the Friday nite fish fry and it was way better than we expected. The entire experience was several notches above our previous visit. The special was served in nice sized basket with the cod nestled on top of the fries. This kept the cod away from the grease that always gathers in the basket bottom and very crispy, the way I like it. The cod was large, crispy, and tasty. Generous portion. Fries were also crispy and well seasoned. Came with the traditional cole slaw and tartar sauce. Not a complaint, but wish the cole slaw portion was a little larger. The service was wonderful, friendly and just the right amount of attention. The restaurant is very clean and attractive, and the views of the golf course are far superior to looking out a window and watching traffic crawl along Bell Road. Still a bit too noisy, but not a major issue. They've clearly fixed lots of things since our last visit...KUDOS...we will be back.

PREVIOUS....Thought (hoped actually) that the fourth time would be the charm. Unfortunately, not. Quality of food and services is unpredictable. If you enjoy surprises this should be at the top of your to do list (assuming you don’t mind the words tasteless, undercooked, mystery, and strange being associated with your meal, and wait staff that define the word WAIT). But, to be fair and based on experience, you’ve got about a 40-50% chance of a moderately decent meal and pleasant overall experience. But I’m done gambling. I won’t comment on our last experience, as one of our other party members has already done a detailed review of each of the dinners that were ordered.”

“Went last night for a blizzard and Ranch bacon burger. The help at the desk was great but the burger was like cardboard, very dry,you don't need to worry about me coming back for another burger. I love the blizzards.”

“We finally made it to Mike's Wings/Waffles Burger here in our community of Sun City West~it was most definitely worth it:) My BF ordered the Catfish Combo, while I had the Waffle Burger, with a side of Deep-Friend Cauliflower and a Side of Ranch Dressing...All our food was both fresh and delicious, plus generous in sizing!! Will absolutely be frequenting this fun and tasty restaurant again SOON~THANKS!!”

“Fun place to hang out on a Friday evening.. Usually, a great band shows up. Be sure and get there early as they fill up fast. During the summer, it tends to get pretty warm in there.”

“My wife and I have been coming to this location for the past two and a half years. The food is fresh, and the staff are always friendly. I'd recommend this location for any couple looking for a nice and clean place to grab a bite to eat and socialize.”

“Great deal in this time of overpriced restaurants. Good food & very friendly employees. Don't get presented with providing 18-30 percent tip request at register. Coupons are also provided to potential customers bi-monthly. Bright light in this time of other establishments price gouging public.”

“If you don't have a reservation you are met with a very non-customer oriented Blonde with an attitude. We arrived at 3:30pm for happy hour and were shocked when we could not be seated or accommodated in the bar. Maybe management should post a sign saying we are sorry we cannot assist walk-ins because we only cater to the reservation crowd. This is the third time they have been very rude to us whether we've had a reservation or not. We won't be back.”

“Everyone was extremely pleasant. I believe I was talking to the manager when it comes to preparing the food. I do have a shellfish allergy and she explained the protocols and safety measures that she takes so that I can enjoy the food in her restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Good quantity good quality highly highly recommend this place.
