I give props to this store, management & employees. This is definitely a retirement community- so expect that the busy hours are early in the day- and with busy hours comes the community that needs to take their time, DOES take their time, and it will always be a bit "slow" in pace. But, it doesn't change that this store is still a great one. And they treat ALL of their customers like they matter! Typical Starbucks. Depending on your point of view - that's good or bad. Well, typical for being inside a grocery store. It is inside Safeway. I have bought a couple of drinks here over the past few months. Service was efficient and friendly. Drinks were fine. I prefer the stand-alone atmosphere if I'm going to Starbucks, but will guess to Safeway for atmosphere?

I'm not a real fan of Starbucks but a friend suggested I try their Passion Fruit/Pineapple Refresher drink. Big mistake. They used freeze dried pineapple. Nasty stuff after it gets soaked. For the cost their products it should have been "real pineapple bits". Almost $5.00 for medium size. Their prices are ridiculous.
