Stopped in for an early dinner on a Wed. Glad we got there when we did because it filled in fast! Food was excellent and service was good. Loved the beans and I'm not a bean person! Great Cadillac margaritas. This may become my go to Mexican food place!
A great local spot for Tex-Mex staples, prompt service, and good value. I ordered the lunch special chicken taco & cheese enchilada with rice and beans (pictured). The decor is classy and contemporary, my only detraction is that when I visited the music was overbearing ballads which didnt add to the ambiance in my opinion. Worthwhile and thank you to our waiter Jaime for a great experience.
Friends encouraged Don Ruben's as we had not been here before. I got spinach enchiladas you see here fish tacos, shrimp burro platter and the chimichanga platter. Lupita is our server and although her hispanic inflection is a little strong for our 'gringo' comprehension, she has been an excellent server with a beautiful smile, patience for the four of us and a wonderful server! We are taking home to-go boxes..., a lot of food!
