“The atmosphere and service were lovely. The food was all tasty. My only disappointment is that while I appreciate that they are serving pan-African food, there is a lack of authenticity in some dishes. The flatbread is pita bread but called chapati, two very different types of flat bread. Dairy, dips, and cheeses don’t play much of a role in traditional East, West or South African cuisine and I was hoping for more regional African influence when I took my work team there on a recent visit to Phoenix. The food and experience were enjoyable and I would go back, but reset my expectations to include the more broad interpretation of the restaurant concept.“

“Tried this place during our stay in Phoenix. The quality and portion size of food was top notch. The person serving us was very friendly and helped us with the details of Somali food that we were eating for the first time. When the food came out, it tasted just divine. Will visit again.“
