About Bindaas Indian Street Food Cafe

Bindaas Indian Street Food Cafe offers a diverse menu of Indian dishes, though some items may not live up to their billing. The Kolkata rolls disappoint, lacking the authentic flavors expected. On Sundays, the restaurant can be crowded, and the food is described as average, with slow refilling of empty items. However, the chicken and paneer biryanis are praised as better than many other Indian restaurants in the area. The chaat and batura are enjoyed, evoking the feel of eating in India. While the vada is well-cooked, the peanut chutney is noted to be subpar if ordered late in the evening. Overall, the food quality is good, though the ambiance could use some improvement to make this a top Indian dining destination in Phoenix and Tempe.

Great food and service. Spice level should be little lower for the mild option.

Dietary restrictions: They have Halal Meat.

Excellent food for Arizona..?

The food is decent. However, their Kolkata rolls are not Kolkata rolls at all! I eagerly ordered them, and was rather disappointed at what landed on my plate. Kolkata rolls are not difficult to make. I even offered to teach them how to make them, but they weren't interested in learning. They should either learn how to make real Kolkata rolls, or change the name of the so named items, e.g., to Bindaas rolls.
