This restaurant acts as a good change of tastes, comparable to Panda Express. The flavors are all basically different, but the plate compositions are the same. I was on the fence, teetering between 3 and 4 stars, trying to decide what rating to give, before settling at 4 stars. There were a lot of good things about Char'd, and only a couple gripes. Tasty, no frills and filling for what you pay for. Feels Hawaiian and the food is pretty good and in good portions. I am giving 5 stars because this is a good deal and taste for the price. But if it was two dollars more I would have given 4.5 instead

If you're looking for Hawaiian plate lunch style food near ASU, this is the place to go. I went with a friend and got the chicken katsu plate and she got the kalua pig plate and both were so bomb. They also get spam musubi and other plates like kalbi, so gotta go back to try that. Overall kinda expensive, but when I miss home I think it's worth it.
