Amazing. It is a small family owned business. Food is great, super affordable (especially for students) and portions are absolutely massive. Tried the spicy chicken soup/ramen and it did not disappoint. Just the right amount of spice, a mountain of chicken and fresh veggies. Highly recommend. It is also open till late night (11pm).
Love little ma and pa restaurants in my community. Chens food has a ton of flavor and if you like spicy, like I do you're in for a treat. The lamb skewers and the dry pot / stir fried beef were tongue teasers. Cooled down with garlic cucumbers and a kumquat lemonade before hitting the spicy wontons. Affordable and easy to find off Rural Ave in Tempe. Parking is challenging during lunch so plan a little time.
10/10 experience! Even though they had already closed, the owner and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of, and their hospitality truly made our day. The food was great, the service was outstanding, and everyone was so friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
