The owner of El Jefe is on top of his game! I have been to several of their locations and on this night came to Tempe. What a cute location with colorful inside seating and plentiful outdoor seating. Food is always authentic, fresh and delicious. I needed to get a shirt for a relative and the owner personally assisted me and was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond with helping me to find what I needed. Thank you! Been here a few times before and really enjoy the food, it's great!! But they went above and beyond last weekend! I ordered a DoorDash order for the first time ever and the first driver stoled my food! Then the second driver called and told me about it and I had to cancel the order. After my disappointment I called El Jefe again and reordered my food and my husband (who is my original door dasher for us, lol) went and picked up my food. Wow! So glad I decided to come here for lunch! They were so friendly and quick. And the food was amazing--we got the Sun Devil roll and El Jefe roll, and the four chicken street tacos. They were soo delicious. The food was simple and unique (only a few ingredients), but still tasted so good (I could have eaten just the chicken by itself from the tacos).
