John and Tim are awesome.

Wonderful beers with a mix of rotating taps and annual favorites. Tim and John are always smiling, and the entire place is dog friendly. Bring in food (tons of great options nearby, we've seen some folks have food delivered) or look for scheduled food trucks.

Love Goldwater Crossing. Low key, dog friendly, and can sit inside or outside. There is delicious food next door at Perfect Pear (personal favorite) to bring over to have some beer. The service is great as it's super low key and the server isn't annoying you. Overall, one of the best neighborhood bars one could ask for.

Goldwater Brewing is truly impressive, especially with their new tasting room that sets the bar high. The quality of their beers is exceptional, offering a delightful experience for any beer enthusiast. The staff at Goldwater Brewing deserves accolades for their excellence, contributing to the overall positive vibe of the place. I highly recommend checking them out - the experience is well worth it, and you're bound to leave with a sense of satisfaction. They have a large spacious bar and they even have a patio. I only like sours and Jimmy made excellent suggestions. He was attentive and friendly. He even mixed a Sourita and Desert Rose (Kolsch) and I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you. Can't wait to come back.

Always a great selection of brews. Friendly staff that’s knowledgeable and proud of the product. I particularly like that there is no food served here. The focus is on the beers and the environment. Live music on Friday’s…Great neighborhood spot!

We wandered in after dinner at Perfect Pear. Just wanting to check it out. Very typical tap room atmosphere. Not sure if they serve food or if they'll bring in food trucks when it cools off.

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to breweries. I brew my own and love craft beer, and I'm critical of the cookie cutter breweries that pop up with their carbon copy beer list. I'd been to Goldwater's East Mesa location before, but this was my first visit to the new South Tempe spot. It's great. Beers are solid. No food served, but you are welcome to bring it in. The atmosphere is industrial; clean, new and well done. Staff is attentive and friendly. Dogs are welcome, even inside which I'm a fan of. And, they have an amazing acoustic guitar player on Friday nights, which will keep me coming back. If you are an Ahwatukee resident and tired of all the chain options, give this place a try. You'll be happy you did.
