The gyro sandwich had flavorful, thinly sliced meat that wasn’t too salty, and the white sauce they put inside seemed homemade. A cute waitress was extremely friendly, and the food tasted very fresh because they cut the vegetables right before serving. The coffee was good too. Her friendliness makes me want to come back again.
When you walk in, no one greeted us and there is a sign that states: seat yourself. The two of us sat in a booth and were told by the Owner to move unless we had 6 other with us. 2 people plus 6 would have never been able to it in said booth unless I could put them in my pockets. We were asked to move and waited for over 25 without so much as a water, coffee, or acknowledge of our existence. Down scottsdale and east on university to Suny's café and Home of Stellar Service....
Cute little old school diner with attentive service and great grub! We sat by the window and at thick slices of bacon and Belgian waffles, sipping our coffee and watching the world go by. A great little spot! Will be back next time we're in town!
