From out of town but this is my second time here. I struggle to understand why the ratings are low for this place. Maybe it's the quality of the ramen, but I've never had the ramen here since I like different broth bases than offered here.The Katsu Curry is great, large portions with a little kick. My partner has a Gyudon Rice Bowl and soup, and we shared the crispy potstickers which are aptly named.The place has a great atmosphere and when we visited it was quite busy. Some people might dislike the order from QR and it gets dropped off, but it helps me feel less anxious about ordering and the staff can focus on the food.

I miss Japanese izakaya! That's why I always want to go when Izakaya is in the name.It was a pleasant season so I went to the terrace. Even if there are a lot of people passing by and it doesn't feel very relaxing, if the temperature is nice, the terrace is recommended.My husband ordered a 32oz beer and I was wondering how much 32oz is when the pitcher arrived ? I feel like I'm in Japan!I ate a lot of things like kakuni, fatty sushi, and tonkotsu ramen, but the fried chicken made me feel nostalgic. It has a Japanese-style salty taste that makes you want rice.The most noteworthy thing was that they weren't playing Showa era pop songs, but recent J-pop!Well, it wasn't a Japanese restaurant, but rather an Izakaya (for Arizona), I think. I want to come again.

I thought this was place was great! Just got sushi and some grilled pork belly. I’m not a huge fan of restaurants that make you order on the phone but this was a cool spot I’ll definitely go back to.

The fried chicken is crispy and delicious. Some people may want mayonnaise.The tonkotsu ramen is not good, with the lukewarm soup and soft noodles that Americans prefer. I regret that I should have told them that the noodles would be hot and hard when ordering.The flavored eggs and seaweed were delicious. The pork chashu was thin and greasy, which was not good.If you want Japanese-style ramen, we recommend that you tell them when ordering that you want it hot and the noodles hard.Ordering and payment are easy as you scan the QR code.

I've traveled to Japan closest thing I've had to ramen in Japan and the service was quick ....food is amazing from the ramen to kurage chicken on point I love that you order on your phone when you get to the table allows for quick service and once your done you just leave def something every restaurant should have

I had heard really good things about this place from mutuals and social media so I was in the area and wanted to try it out and I'm fairly picky with my ramen but I was confident I'd really enjoy this place. We started with the chicken karage and it was decent, not my favorite but not bad. However I ordered the pork tonkotsu with the spicy and I requested more mild and all I could taste was spice and it kind of ruined the whole thing. The pork was okay but again not my favorite. I tried my friends regular pork tonkotsu and it really just tasted like a basic pork soup, there wasn't a lot of depth and I was pretty disappointed overall. Concept of seating and ordering yourself was nice though and staff was helpful.
