We’ve had a few visits to Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and there are definitely some standout aspects—along with a few things that could be improved.

The biggest highlight is the quality of the meat. It really stands out and feels closer to what you’d expect from a good sit-down restaurant rather than a typical quick-service spot. The flavors are solid, portions are generous, and the proteins are consistently satisfying.

Where it falls short for...

Loved the $8 fish plate. Well worth it. Loved the salad that came with it. My daughter liked the chicken dish a lot also Dressing was great. Canned guava drink good. The staff was very friendly and polite, especially the young gentleman up front. Passing through, or would eat there several times a week. Made me think of Hawaii and oceans.

The inside was clean. No line to wait in. An employee greeted us with kindness and asked for our order. She was Halarious. We ordered # 3 & 42. Chicken mix and Chicken and Beef mix. It didn't take long for the food to be ready. It was prepared as expected and tasted delicious. Cost was about $14.00 per plate. Highly recommended. We'll be returning.
