The lady behind the counter was very friendly. She accepted my order with a smile. It was the meal to have after coming home from delivering cars,trucks, and equipment over the road in a beat-up truck and trailer from all points north and south for Tap United Freight LLC and Purple Heart Transportation LLC that almost got me killed.

I was in Tempe one day craving some NY style pizza and came across Otto Pizza. Being I was born and raised on the East coast, I am so sick of places claiming to be authentic style NY pizza I almost gave up on pizza entirely but decided to give them a try based on their almost 5 star reviews. When I say this pizza gave me east coast flash backs I’m not exaggerating… this pizza was great!

We ordered carry out from Otto’s and were overall happy. The thin crust pizza and croissant sandwich we received were fantastic and hit the spot.
However, the “fresh fruit” side we opted for with the sandwich was disappointing. While flavorful, we expected more than a dressing cup with fruit smashed in as a side dish.

Ottos is a great local itallian restaurant in tempe. They have awesome pizza by the slice and whole pizzas. If you like cannoli's i recommend checking one of ottos out! Great food, kind and helpful staff, awesome location near downtown Tempe. Will keep going here almost weekly!

Otto’s pizza is a staple for our family. They’ve been around for over 30 years I believe. My husband has been coming here since the early 2000 and he introduced it to me in 2011. We live in East Mesa so we don’t visit as often as we’d like but try to make it at least every other month. The food is always made fresh with so much care and love. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Our favorite menu items are the classic Cheese Pizza and the Chicken Light Sandwich and ALL of the desserts! I’ve literally never tasted anything bad off the menu. My son in particular LOVES the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake. We will continue to make the trip to Otto’s for our favorite pizza and hopefully one day you’ll have a location in East Mesa! 😉

From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the tasty menu, it’s clear this place cares about quality and experience. It’s not just about the great food; it’s about the genuine vibe that makes you want to come back.
This place is no frills but hands down some of the best pizza in Arizona. Very reasonably priced-especially if you consider they make their crust and sauce from scratch everyday. We enjoy the Otto white and Otto cape cod frequently and my husband’s favorite is their pepperoni with extra cheese. Sometimes we switch it up and enjoy a calzone or pizza roll, always filled with the freshest fillings. I am very sensitive to preservatives and this place never gives me any trouble. Our favorite dessert is the chocolate mousse and their tiramisu is also tasty.
The recent negative reviews are baffling to me. We have been eating here since around 2011 and are always happy. We often have leftovers and they heat up so well the next day. You can even call ahead and order if you’re short on time.
Vegetarian options: The veggies and cheese are super fresh and generous portions as toppings. Also have mushrooms that are really tasty. My favorite is the Otto white.

I'm so lucky to have this absolute gem in my neighborhood. I've been frequenting Otto's for over 2 decades and they have always been awesome and consistent. Whether it's stopping in on my way to work for a breakfast sandwich, grabbing a calzone and pasta for family dinner, or loading up on pizzas for a party, I am always happy. They also serve up yummy desserts. Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish this family owned restaurant had later night and Sunday hours.
