El Apollo Supremo is an amazing spot for lunch or dinner. Don’t underestimate or overlook this hidden gem! The most cost effective menu item that has a sample of the menu is the combo plate, but make sure you don’t skip the rice on the side or the flour tortillas. Will be returning the next time we’re in town!
This is my favorite spot for chicken but my absolute first choice for carne asada always amazing juicy and the flavor is on point everytime I drive down to Tempe from the west valley all the time just for lunch Cash only but the place next door has an atm Family friendly If you get cold like me take a light sweater

Was in Tempe on an errand and stopped in for a quick lunch. Asked for a menu and was told the few items on the board was the menu. Tried the combo plate (beef and chicken), it was a very pleasant surprise. Tender meat with loads of flavor, not common these days, and the salsa was fantastic. I plan on making more trips to Tempe for the sole reason of having lunch here again.
