Unbelievably good. This is Matcha Heaven. Go now ! The tiramisu cake variation in the wooden box with Matcha is absolutely the best. The ice creams and the drinks are excellent. It’s pretty busy so be mentally ready to wait. The line moves quick as the folks are working really hard in this place. The most close to Japan you will get in Phoenix.
I am seriously so jealous that all you ASU students and local tempe residents get access to such great Asian businesses such as Maiko. They are a popular matcha chain in large cities and it's great to see them here.My favorite drink here is always their Hojicha Latte with Oat Milk. Love that they offer non-dairy milks and their hojicha blend is rich in earthy flavor. I should probably ask for it be slightly less sweet next time but on its own, this roasted green tea drink is one I can't recommend enough.I know as a matcha shop that they don't have boba, but it would be such a treat to be able to have added that to my drink. Alas, enjoy this Sundevils, and make sure they stick around for a while.

Such a cute place. Tbh I don’t really like matcha much but I came for their Earl Grey ice cream and THAT was so good. If anything you really need to go and try it because it’s so creamy and the scent is just lovely. It smells so nice and tastes mildly sweet. Might be coming back just for this ice cream.

Tried a trio with matcha, ube and hojicha flavors. Unfortunately to my luck, I got hojicha the most and that’s the least liked flavor for me. It’s way too bitter in taste. I wanted to try their mango which is out of stock. Also wanted to try their matcha cake which is also out of stock. Overall didn’t enjoy despite spending $10 for an ice cream. And their matcha is too high in caffeine I guess. Had that at night and couldn’t sleep. Service is slow and ambiance is pretty good.
