I’ve been to Roman God of Fire on 2 separate occasions and both were fantastic. In fact, the first time I came I loved it so much I made a reservation for an upcoming girls night on the spot! Roman God of Fire in Tempe is a fantastic restaurant that delivers an incredible and memorable dining experience. The service is amazing and accommodating, with knowledgeable staff. The menu has something for everyone without being overwhelming, making it great for a date night or a group. The food and drinks are incredible, and the ambiance is great.
Standout dishes include the focaccia bread, grilled shrimp, and carbonara, which was perfection. The Caesar salad with truffle was absolutely amazing. The supplì with ’nduja and scamorza was crispy, spicy, cheesy, and delicious. The gnocchi and carbonara were fantastic, and the pastas alone would be reason enough to come back. The porterhouse, cooked medium rare, was tremendous and packed with flavor. The branzino had beautifully crispy skin while the filet stayed light, moist, and perfectly cooked. The gelato and ricotta pie are both recommended. The Pizza alla Romana and fritto misto are also available.
It is a show stopper but not gimmicky at all. It is the real deal and so delish. The bathroom is like a Roman bath house. It is highly recommended for fun gatherings.
