The servers were amazing, management too, the hostess... didn't want to seat anyone, and said no tables were available, yet there were several open with servers in the area, the manager overheard czme and sat us...food... humus was great, the fried pickles to salty, and curry was not flavorful cobb salad...missing whats in a cob..... but the atmosphere was amazing and drinks were top notch.
First impressions are strong! Not only is the wait staff friendly and helpful, but they also employ a LIBRARIAN for their game collection. Our librarian was amazing and helped us discover some incredibly fun new games!! The food and drinks seem more reliable than anything else. Nothing too unique, but nothing so basic that you feel underwhelmed. 8.5/10
I want to say only good things about S&L; they have great service, excellent game advisors, a great menu and food, and are very well organized. However, I wasn't able to handle the level of noise during my Sunday visit. On top of all the chatter, which is understandable, their music is far too loud for anyone to learn new games, concentrate on a game, or speak to others.
