Of all the ramen I've eaten in the valley; they're clearly working some magic in the kitchen here at Tanpopo. The tonkotsu broth was super light yet full of flavor. The think pork strips were so fatty and juicy and the soy egg was excellent once it hit the hot broth and I dipped my noodles into the runny yolk. This quiet, small shop has been my go to ramen spot in Tempe since 2020. They have a short menu but every item is delicious, I always order the Tonkatsu ramen but recently tried their new Kakuni Krunch which has the best braised pork. Staff is always very polite and attentive, and the food comes out quickly even in a rush.
Had been looking forward to trying this place for months, but the food was just okay and the service was subpar. The prices also felt a bit high for what you get. It’s an acceptable spot if you’re really craving ramen, but I wouldn’t go back.
