Sadly, this wonderful, cool place has been cursed ever since they painted over the Buffy the Vampire Slayer mural outside. They've had nothing but bad vibes and lawsuits since. Their burgers and fried pickles were awesome. I loved this place. They need to bring back Buffy.
I was working nearby and went in for lunch. The service was great, the food (chopped chicken salad) was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. Next time I'm in the area I will be going back.
This is a cool old neighborhood bar that serves really good food and has a kicked back vibe. Sherry was the bartender on the day that I visited and she was awesome. She can make a mean dirty Shirley and serves everything with a smile. This place is truly a hidden gem. Try the tavern bites.
