I’m a burger snob, and I’m almost always disappointment by places that claim to have a great burger. But there was no disappointment here. I was skeptical because the inside feels a bit like a dive, but I think it gives the spot its particular feel. I ordered the basic burger and you get to dress the burger up yourself. I don’t go heavy with ingredients to not overwhelm the burger and bun taste or ratio. I’m telling you, it was perfection. The bun doesn’t fall apart...
Am in agreement with everyone. Burgers are fantastic. Haven’t been there since the mid 70’s when I was attending ASU on the GI bill. The GI bill covered tuition and housing/food off campus and $1 tickets to home football games.
The best place in Tempe for a burger. They cook it fresh in front of you over a wood fire grill and yhr fries and onion rings are cooked fresh for every order. They have all the toppings for the burgers that yiu just load up a burger the way yiu like it. The smell of a real burger never fails.
