Udupi Indian Vegetarian & Vegan Cuisine

Went to dine during listed business hours only to find they were closed. No signs about being closed. Apparently they’re temporarily closed until the end of the month. Why not leave a sign on the restaurant door or update online maps and listings?

We came to Phoenix three days ago and found an Udupi hotel. We ordered rava masala dosa and plain dosa—both dishes were excellent. We felt very happy after having the food.

Worst place to go for South Indian food, Dosa was soft and terrible, sambhar was overly spicy and watery, Restrooms were Nasty and smelled terrible, Never again to this place.

I wish I could give zero stars. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had. The food was extremely poor in quality.
I would strongly advise others to reconsider before dining here.

The worst udupi cafe I ever had .Please don’t go there to eat any kind of food .They make me to wait at least 45mints for one dosa and very bad Chutney with lot of water .

We ordered via online for dosa and Idli. After an hour we went to pick it up. The response was there is no idli and for dosa it takes more time. This is after hour and half after ordering online. There was no prior communication from there side that there is no availability. This is on Monday!! Please kindly avoid this restaurant. Terrible service and attitude.

Oh.My.Goodness. Vegan heaven. Super flavorful, excellent portion, very reasonable- almost too cheap for its quality -delicious meal!!

We ( two adults) arrived mid afternoon yesterday to an empty restaurant and we were served very promptly. We would have ordered more, but the waiter ( probably one of the cook) was a little concerned , hahaha and stopped us. 4 appetizers and 2 house specials. We couldn’t finished all, so we took home leftovers, for our great delight today !!

This was the worst food experience I’ve had. I ordered Dosas here and the masala inside smelled absolutely rotten completely spoiled and unsafe to eat. The stench was so bad I had to throw everything straight into the trash without a single bite. I tasted food from 100's of restaurants in USA but this type of food is never experienced.

It is shocking and unacceptable that a restaurant would serve food in this condition. Not only is it disappointing, but it’s also a serious health hazard. Customers expect fresh, hygienic food not spoiled ingredients that could make someone sick.

If this is the standard, I will never order from here again and would strongly advise others to think twice before risking their health.

What I realised here is , buy 1 get 1 is a scam to attract customers to sell their rotten food. This is my honest review after ordering food from udipi. I will never order from here again.

Your response proves the problem. Instead of addressing a genuine food safety issue, you chose to deny, blame, and insult the customer. The masala in my dosas smelled spoiled that is a fact, not a story. Attacking me for leaving a review only shows how poorly you handle complaints. A professional restaurant would take responsibility, not dismiss health concerns. Also, I don't waste my time creating a new id just to review a stupid thing. You don't even know how to hadle and reply customers.

Worst experience too much delay took around 1 hour to get curry most irritating experience

Food took forever!!! I ordered vegetable pakoras thinking I'd be getting potato, cauliflower etc. And got a pile of fried onions in basically dorito colored i wouldn't even call it a batter. I should have just went to cloves grocery got a mix and made pakoras myself ugh.

They were closed again when they allowed us to order food. I paid ahead and did not receive anything.
