I got a vegan meat lovers that was only sauce and mushrooms. It was not what I ordered and I never got my fries or a refund I spent 50 I'm truly sad. The pizza still was good just not what I asked for at all. A little disappointed for my first time eating here. I'll try again when I'm actually able to go inside because maybe it was the driver whoo knows smh

While I appreciated the help with menu selection, it was off putting that the staff was discussing ordering a pizza while I was trying to place my order. I believe the older woman's name was Jill? I was standing at the register waiting to order and she's talking with her two co-workers asking what they want on their pizza, walking outside to get the suite number... it was very odd.

For a "back home" experience, this place has all Detroit decor. They don't offer a lot of healthy food, but I didn't expect that due to the name. Several years ago, this place was mentioned in a food magazine about eating in all 50 states without leaving AZ. I tried it, loved it, keep coming back. (The one in downtown Phoenix is a bit cramped but also worth a trip.)About a month ago, they added new menu items. My cousin was with me and said the Sun Devil Chicken was delicious. My Philly was also tasty. It's usually the same guys behind the counter whenever I go in, so I know what to expect. They may not recognize me, but they always treat me well.

Food was honestly really good. I got the beyond burger they offer & it was one of the best alt burgers I have ever had. The service on the other hand. Uncomfortable. Disappointing. Felt like we were intruding on them in their basically empty restaurant. I work in the service industry & while they did give adequate service it wasn't anything that made me feel the need to come back. Besides the food coming out fast, the service was very much adequate. Across the street at zipps the food was HORRIBLE but my friend and I, who do weekly dinner+drinks out in Tempe, felt significantly more comfortable and welcome there. Overall the service is what really needs to change here. If Detroit is known for being rude then maybe I just wasn't in on the joke, but we didn't even stay for a second drink & just bar hopped instead. It feels like they don't expect anyone to want to just hangout there so they don't even try. Which stinks because it's a cute place with good offerings. The staff just seems like they hate having to be there & that doesn't make anyone WANT to stay lol.

I'm a Chicago gal living in Germantown, TN who was visiting Tempe for a graduation- words do do come to me to explain how much I loved the chili cheese mixture - it was decadent! Bun on point & the hot dog was different from what I'm used to, but I'd try it again! Onions rings ?? "I'm still dreaming of them". Thank you! Pleasant staff, wonderful chefs brought back memories!!

Are here during the Tempe art festival and was perfect for lunch. I'm not a food truck fan but still wanted something unique and not crazy overpriced. The food here was delicious and came out quickly, even though they were busy. This isn't a healthy spot by any means but if you're looking for a good burger/melt/hotdog for a decent price, give these guys a shot.

I love love the handwashing station by the door! I ordered in advance, food was ready at pick up and so warm. I bit into the juiciest onion ring I have ever bitten into! Handsome bartender. Beautiful view of Mill Ave. No problem with parking. Clean patio. (Sorry not Sorry) No transients

The lady that took our order was awesome! So helpful. There are many options from the bread to meat, cheeses and add on items. The sandwiches were so tasty! Their house made bread is excellent. Service and sandwiches were top notch! I highly recommend this spot for a great lunch!

Vegetarians usually get the raw end of the deal at restaurants like this. Their Beyond Burger is made from handmade patties. I have never had that at any place other than a much more expensive restaurant. They only serve one size of drinks and sides. Makes things easier for those in a hurry. You'll never get those 10 seconds back. My husband had the coney combo and said it was good. The onion rings were average. The tator tots were spot on. Perfectly cooked. I hate a soggy tot. I recommend it for a fast dinner along Mill Ave. The corner is great for people-watching. If that's not your thing they have TVs everywhere you look with the current sports selections.

First time I came here I had the "Grilled Cheesy Burger" aka patty melt, which is 2 smashed sliders in a grilled cheese sandwich. It was "good". I normally enjoy thin patties but I noticed the patties were so thin that it felt more like a grilled cheese sandwich with minor amounts of chopped ground beef it in. I opted to request a triple on the next visit and this time each patty was thicker Lol. It tasted phenomenal from the bread to the cheese to the grilled onions. It looked like perfection. Today, I order my usual and a cook (Maria?) delivers me a burnt sandwich. She tried to flip the burger to hide the heavily burnt side. I requested it to be re-done and this time she delivered a half-assed sandwich. The texture, which is normally very soft (due to being toasted on the grill w/butter) was now hard...and the cheese was barely melted. It was rather chalky. Very abysmal serving. You guys gotta get it together. This 1 sandwich should not be tasting different or having inconsistent textures on every single visit. Train your cooks to make one consistent and cohesive product for Christ's sake.

I wrote this about 9 months ago, but accidentally reviewed the wrong location. Here's my review for the correct one: Came here for my first time last night and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my burger and the Coney fries, they were really tasty. It was pretty busy, but I didn't have to wait in a line or struggle to find a table. The cashier wasn't the friendliest, he was just alright. I definitely recommend this place.

Was looking for a sandwich shop near my hotel and found Ike’s. Lots of deli options. Enjoyed the “Reggie Jackson” with Turkey instead of ham. Bread was crispy with a tasty aioli on it Highly recommend!

Great location in downtown Tempe very close to a public parking garage with an awesome outdoor seating area! The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. We love everything we tasted, but our favorites are sun devil burger, garlic & parmesan wings, and bbq cauliflower! They also have great hand-cut fries, very fresh and delicious! If you're from Midwest, you'll love the Detroit-style coney dog!
