Yesterday 12/18/2024 at 11:15ish I went to this waba grill. The cashier girl named KENIA was the most rude and ignorant girl I have ever came across. She was literally wearing an AirPod while taking my order and obviously couldn’t hear what I was ordering. I specifically asked for a steak bowl and she gave me a chicken and steak bowl. I didn’t realize she had messed up my order until I got in my car. As soon as I noticed I went back and told her that wasn’t what I wanted and she gave me the worst attitude. She swung her arm at the menu and basically told me I didn’t know how to order. She then proceeded to “fix” my bowl without gloves which made me disgusted. I immediately told her I no longer wanted the bowl and to refund me my money. She had the nerve to ask why as if she hadn’t gave me the worst attitude and had blamed me for ordering wrong when she couldn’t even hear me cause SHE WAS WEARING AN AIRPOD! I’ve seen other reviews on this girl, I don’t know why she’s still employed here. Also the cook was wearing gloves but simultaneously was using his phone without exchanging gloves. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. WaBa grill needs to fire these people.

This location is consistently dirty, every single time and it's been this way for 5 years. This isn't hard, dust high and low, actually clean the bathroom, clean the common areas and hold your staff accountable. I was 4 days ago and the toilet grime is from then or prior. This is an owner or managment issue, put policies in place, enforce them and follow up that it's getting done.
Inside the kitchen is dismal too, makes you wonder what a customer can't see if what they can isn't up to snuff, fountain machine has routine down time on options as well.
i hope it changes

Kitchen grill was disgusting with who knows how old black grease down the sides of pots and caked on grill
Food was horrible veggies were unflavored and dry Chicken was over cooked Beef(if we can call it that) damn near resembled burnt ground beef

Girl working the counter could be a lot more friendly. I love waba but she definitely makes me not want to come back. I asked for a waba bowl forgetting they have brown and white rice. Not even 45secs after I ordered I ask for brown rice. The cook as well as the counter girl looked at each other and proceeded to sigh and say “sure”. It’s wasn’t like I asked 10mins later I literally asked 30secs after I ordered.

Great little spot that closes lay for clean fresh veggies, and protein. I love the miso soup tofu I had the tacos on a whim once and they were super delicious and different with the yellow sauce. I don’t even eat steak but wow was it yummy here

Walked in at 9:29PM to order and online it says they’re open till 10PM and the worker said “we’re closed”. Maybe hire workers that aren’t lazy and want to close the store 30 mins early cuz they’re lazy. Or have the right time listed online.
