I visited the Whatabuger location at 1800 W. Elliot Road, Tempe, Arizona at noon on a Friday. The drive thru was backed up, so I went inside to order. Two guys entered right before me and they told the employee at the register that they had an app pickup, then they stepped aside. She went behind the wall and I stepped up to the counter and waited while she never returned. It seemed like a really long time, but in reality, it was probably only a minute before someone else (with a Manager badge) stepped up to the register and started taking my order and the orders of the people who were in the line forming behind me. I ordered the Green Chile Burger Meal which came with medium fries and medium drink. The total after taxes was $12.31. The manager gave me my receipt and a number tent along with an empty drink cup. I walked up the soda fountain, got ice and lemonade. I sat down at a table with my number tent and only about a minute later, a guy brought my food to me along with some ketchup for the fries. The Green Chile Double burger was hot, fresh and delicious. The green chile was tasty but not spicy. The fries were hot and fresh as well. The lobby was clean and the trash cans were ready for the lunch rush.

Will never come back to wataburger again ever asked for 1 BBQ sauce since I ordered the 3 piece chicken meal n a watabuger was told I couldn't get 1 that it would be an extra 49.cents which is ridiculous because I supposedly ordered online if I ordered at the restaurant I could get it SMH ?♂️ of course I wanted BBQ with my chicken yes I want sauce so I said ok and left disappointed .you just lost a customer

Nice clean and friendly service. Ordered the #1 burger combo and a cob salad with grilled chicken to try out. No disappointment here. Everything was fresh tasting and hooked up! Half the time they forget to bring out curbside orders. Occasionally they make the food wrong. I have paid for avocado and not gotten it at least twice.
