“Posting under our "foodie" handle, TravelingbyCarr G and R...Oct 5, '24. Out of all of the eatin' choices, Kate's seemed to have the best menu. Busy, we sat at the bar, where one tv shows a continuous loop of the movie Tombstone. Our bartender/server was Dan. Fast, efficient, great personality, he could sling drinks along with entertaining the crowd with his juggling skills. On the other hand, he didn't know when Arizona became a state. We gave Dan a pass, since he was from Boston. On his advice, I went with the over-stuffed reuben and R took the cheesesteak with jalapenos. The reuben was very good and the cheesesteak a generous helping of juicy, spicy wonderful. Considering atmosphere, service, food quality & price--including Veteran recognition, G and R gives Kate's 4 stars, with just a bit more.“
