The Russ House Vegetarian • $$
131 South 5th Street, Tombstone

“I was very surprised and impressed with our room. I selected the black room it was very nice, comfortable and adorable. It was our friends birthday so we decided an over night trip and we picked Russ House to stay. We were all so glad to have stayed there. Our room had the joining doors #1and 4. That’s nice to have which didn’t know about it until we arrived to our rooms. Nice to know. It had a cute patio, table , chairs and a fire pit to use. You also get a continental breakfast with your stay at The Longhorn Restaurant. Food was good and the service. Definitely worth staying and recommending to anyone. We right across street from the “ Good Enough Mining Place “ I highly recommend doing the tour. Tombstone is such a cool classic town to visit. Just to think Wyatt Earp, Virgil, Morgan, Doc Holliday and many others walked those streets in 1879. So much to explore. Thank you Russ House for a wonderful evening. Rebecca from Prescott

Rooms: Wonder, clean, nicely done

Nearby activities: So much to do and see give yourself a couple of days to stay so you can venture out to see the surrounding areas. Bisbee is another great place to visit about 35 minutes away and lavender mining pit

Safety: Felt safe throughout the town. Everyone is nice and polite.

Walkability: Everything is walking distance“

“I'm going to be completely honest, CRYSTAL PALACE SALOON had a great selection of beverages and I was greatly satisfied with the bartender's communication and abilities behind the bar. She prepared me an Old Fashioned which made me feel as though Wyatt Earp himself was going to stroll in and sit next to me.“

“We were in Tombstone for a few hours and stopped in to check out their wine. The gentleman at the bar was friendly and explained how his wife makes all their wine. I LOVE that they are not full of chemicals and additives and the ones we tasted were fantastic. We love supporting small businesses and they will have us added to their customer list“

“Restaurant was decorated very nicely. Waitress was great, pretty attentive. Wasn't too busy, actually pretty much empty. However. We weren't too impressed with our food. Over medium eggs were over hard. Med/rare steak was well done. It was tasty just not how we ordered it. And I never send food back. So we ate it. Husband didn't care for the steak at all. His over easy eggs were also over cooked. But it was all flavorable. And plenty.“
