We have new neighbors and wanted to show them some great places to dine out. Stables was our first choice. There was 4 of us. . My husband had the Half Caesar and the Pork Schnitzel , I had the Pork Ribeye. Can't remember what the other couple shared, a Pork Schnitzel and ? Our server was Martha. What a beautiful person ! While in Tubac, we decided on Stables for dinner one night. It did not disappoint. We loved the atmosphere, and waitstaff was friendly and attentive (except when we were ready for the check). My husband had the sous vide pork, which was as tender as expected, and the accompaniments paired very well for a nice fall dish. The pesto chicken pasta was good, but I would have preferred white meat, as I don't really care for dark meat chicken, which should have been specified on...
Ate here 2 nights in a row on a golf outing. Seated VERY promptly at reservation time. Excellent restaurant with good service for our table of 8. Waited a bit for food but it was worth it! Variety of food ordered pastas, steaks, burgers, flatbread, etc. was tasty, drinks were good, but a little on the spendy side for glasses of wine! They have a great 50% off wine bottles on Sundays!
