It's a local family, been around a long time. My combo lunch $18.99 was good. I have to say the iceberg lettuce tasted like it was shredded with metal blades and stored in plastic. It was hard to get all of it off my tacos and ruined the taste for me. Any other kind of lettuce, please, and use a lettuce knife only, fresh in the kitchen.
Food is good, as is the service. Inside is a bit cramped, but the chairs are some of the most comfortable we have found in a "non-luxury" restaurant. The patio is much more open. The only downside to this place is that they have old mariachis wandering the inside wanting to play for you. They play very loudly - much too loudly for the small interior size of the place. Cozy and charming interior seating area. Food was excellent and very tasty Mexican flavors. The cheese enchilada was excellent and I loved my ground beef taco (Combo 2) with really.good rice and beans. My partner loved the chicken mole and he has had mole in lots of places. I do reccomend, even though service was a bit slow, they were friendly.Parking: A few spaces out front and some curb parking available
