Best breakfast in town. The bread is 12/10 fresh and delicious. Only place we eat breakfast when we visit Tubac. Cherry pie was amazing. Made from scratch.

The over all experiences I had here were nothing spectacular nor extremely horrible.
That being said , the coffee I had which was supposed to be French roast tasted more like a lite to regular coffee and not strong at all . I was already on the road so no fixing it .
The other thing that left me feeling like leaving this review was the huge difference in customer service from the afternoon to the morning. The guy on the morning needs some coaching on friendly customer service. A Smile and engaging with a customer with a service attitude that's friendly is helpful.
Both these experiences lead to what initially would have been a 4 or 5 star, to a 3.
I would goto the other coffee spot the next street down if ever visiting this town simply because especially during your low season, I would think your associates would be warm and very welcoming to customers to entice a return! _______ Edit Update for the owner.
NO this is not a plant from another place, the guy who was working was in the am just a little after 715 in the morning. Taller older gentleman. May 13th.
Furthermore, instead of being defensive about mention of other places that people would rather go, Id be more inclined to care about the fact, you have so many people saying the same thing about your place, the service, fights and verbal shouting going on. You need to examine what's happening in your place, and instead of being on vacation, take the time to be IN YOUR BUSINESS with your staff and teach them or get rid of them . It doesn't look good being a business owner having the defensive that people are just trying to direct people to other places. I never named any place, and there are a few places to get coffee between your place and the next street over.
The response from this and many of the reviews definitely speaks for the quality and class of this establishment. its only going to be as good as the leader.

Hi All,
I don't understand why the ratings are so low here. I visited the shop and purchased 2 sandwiches, 2 salads, and 2 pastries. The 2 young ladies were nice to me, answered my questions, and made me some AWESOME food. It has been a very long time since I had a salad and a sandwich that good! Dang! The salads were huge and loaded with many different veggies and cheese. The lettuce and ingredients were fresh as well. I guess people like to complain, but never compliment. I can't wait to go back! Great spot for a sandwich, dessert, or ice cream & coffee. My BLT was just about the best I've ever had.
It was later afternoon, 3 ish, when we arrived at the Coffee/Sandwich shop in Tubac. I appreciated the outdoor seating. Inside was well organized and comfortable. The panini sandwich was good and the coffee was okay. Ask for 2 shots for the 12 oz. One isn’t enough. I was perplexed to find that almost all the tables needed to be wiped down, yet the ladies behind the counter weren’t busy with many customers. The trash was over flowing which was a bit gross but it could have been a one off. I’d go again but didn’t enjoy eating at a dirty table when the place was practically empty. It’s all about training. You don’t learn how to do a job by mind reading what is expected of you. Again….. it’s a really nice place with younger ladies working and maybe they didn’t have time to make the dining room more inviting or their training lacked the time they needed to please customers.

I ordered a cinnamon roll & a latte. The woman behind the counter did the absolute best she could to keep up with the foot traffic flowing in. She was the only person working that we could see. We came around 730 and there were about 5 other couples. The card reader also wasn’t working. The food selection is minimal but the bakery items are huge!

At 2:30 pm today we walked into a screaming match between staff and a customer who apparently spent too long in the restroom and was irate that someone had ‘pounded’ on the door. The shouting lasted a good ten minutes until the customer left. We ordered our lunch and sat down to wait. The shouting match started again between the employees who rehashed the altercation. We watched a person exchange her latte because it was ‘burned’ during the mayhem. Soon all three employees started screaming at the top of their voices (could it be because the music was so loud?!?). I listened for a few minutes and then decided I had had enough! I walked up to the counter and in a voice louder than the three employees combined said, “Could you please stop shouting! This is a place of business! I want my money back so I can leave!”. One of the employees (who burned my sandwich in the process), screamed back at me, “You’re screaming too! Leave and don’t ever come back!”. Our money was returned without question and we were happy to leave and obey their admonition.
