I ordered a love cake for my birthday and it was beautiful. Now the look of the cake was amazing but let’s talk about the real part the taste. INCREDIBLE! I don’t know if this is real but I swear I could feel the love put into the cake. Absolutely divine and such a gem to have here in Tucson. My daughter also received a cup from her pottery collection. Every time she drinks out of it she says this is my special cup. Such an artist and Tucson is so fortunate to have such an artist here.

They make beautiful gifts for sharing with friends on any occasion. If you have a chance to visit the studio, it is a warm and welcoming place to shop for pottery. My favorites are the cups and bowls; I especially love the shapes and glazes. A hidden gem in Tucson.

The Persian Love Cake is absolutely delicious. I buy the large cakes and they are usually finished by day two! It has a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture, made with ground almonds, pistachios, rosewater, cardamom - all in the right proportions, not too sweet and with a great balance. Packaged beautifully, too. Shazieh has mastered it and you should probably get one if you haven't tried it yet so that you can see for yourself what it's all about.
