I absolutely love this place. Try their whole grilled tilapia [order in ahead if you intend to eat it there. It takes longer to cook].
They staff is so friendly. I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit and look forward to going back. They also have a ginger drink that packs a bunch.
Everything on the menu is great. Go with an appetite and enjoy your food with your fufu. This place is wonderful. A special treat in Tucson for people looking for something knew and worldly.

Wonderful West African place. I've been coming here for years. I love their Fufu and the goat stew. Also. The grilled tilapia is my absolute favorite. They also have an African craft store next door that is worth exploring. So delicous, overall I love this place.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere and environment to be in! All smiling and joyful faces, a nicely knit community of regulars.

We got all the dishes we put in the recommended section, but also Hibiscus Juice that was absolutely delicious.

First time trying west African food and the egusi with fufu is so delicious. I usually do not like goat meat but I got goat meat as recommended and it was SO GOOD!! I was having such a bad week and this is the perfect comfort food. I will be back 🫡

The delicious smells from the kitchen were a good sign. We were greeted by African art and posters in the warm and welcoming interior. I was excited to try dipping fufu into the fragrant sauces. The chicken was tender and the sauces on both rice and the fufu were delicious. We talked a little story and left with happy stomachs. We would come back to try other dishes again.

I haven't had that much west african food but I have had Egusi with Fufu in two other locations. Hands down this was the best!! Get the hot sauce! It so flavorful .. and spicy. Honestly the whole dish was flavorful. Cant wait to come back.

I’ve met the owner and he’s such a lovely man, i recently came out of surgery and so far have been surviving off of fufu and egusi, i personally like mine vegan but my friend loves hers with chicken they make it so saucy, nicely seasoned and delicious, always!! They’re always so kind when you walk and even interact with my 1 year old daughter, i also wanna thank this place for their kindness, they’ve been so patient with me for my orders and keeping me fed while healing, truly the best :)
