When my coworker brought Alvernon Donuts into the breakroom for us to eat, I knew I found my donut shop. I went in a few months later and bought a dozen to bring in for my coworkers, as I needed to return the favor. The folks are so welcoming and nice. 10/10 from a donut snob.
We drove from Vail to try this donut shop. We heard is so good. It's true. I had been a fan of Donut Wheel for years. We bought a dozen donuts and some fried chicken, just to sample. We were absolutely blown away with how light fluffy and crispy everything is, this place is amazing! We've tasted a lot of donuts nationwide, and we think this place is the best!!
I've been here about 3 times in the past two weeks and I would say it's top 3 donut places in Tucson. Absolutely delicious.
I've tried the vanilla frosted, chocolate cake, apple filled, the breakfast bun and breakfast sandwich, fried chicken. All delicious. The bun is better than the sandwich imo.
