Had our first experience with Amelia's and just wow! We were wanting just simple and delicious chips/salsa, margaritas and authentic Mexican food. Amelia's met these expectations plus some! The atmosphere was amazing (but a small restaurant so a reservation might be needed when busy), the food was so flippin good, and the margaritas and salsa totally earn the name championship margaritas and salsa. Maddie was our server and she was super attentive, helped with food recommendations...
Was traveling to Tucson and hotel clerk told us best Mexican restaurant. My husband and I said ok. Food was awesome! Appetizer tried yellow peppers stuffed with shrimp and cheese wrapped in bacon and grilled it was delicious. The entrees we got was the best. Outstanding Margaritas! I think our server was Louis he was the best. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Every time we’re in town, we stop by Amelia’s on Grant. Tonight, Brisa was our friendly and efficient server. She’s great! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a build your own burrito, which he loved. It was nothing like we can get near us in Michigan. I also need to mention the refried beans. So good. We’re definitely coming back.
