Aspasia Mediterranean is a new and welcome addition to the local dining scene, offering a delightful variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. The restaurant's food is the main attraction, with standout items like the Lamb Kebab plate, Chicken Kebab plate, and the vegan platter. The Samosas, filled with ground beef, onions, and pine nuts, receive high praise for their light, crispy crust and well-seasoned filling. The Lamb Kebab, served with fragrant rice and tahini, is particularly noted for its perfect seasoning.
The vegan platter, featuring the best falafel ever, spinach pie, and ample portions, is a hit among vegetarians. Customers have praised the baklava and knafeh as absolutely delicious desserts, with the knafeh described as eye-opening. The Aspasia mix appetizer offers a variety of tastes, including kibbeh, samosa, dolma, hummus, baba ghannoush, and a unique cheese roll. The mega mixed grill, with its chargrilled beef and chicken, is well-seasoned and flavorful.
One customer called the falafel wrap “probably one of the best falafel wraps I had in my life,” noting that it was made to order with fresh falafels and the right level of spice when requested. The rice pudding was described as rich and flavorful, worth trying even after it was over. Service is generally friendly, with some highlighting the outstanding service, although occasional delays may occur due to limited staff. The dining room is plain but functional.
Despite minor issues, the generous portions and delicious food make Aspasia Mediterranean a place worth revisiting, especially for those seeking authentic flavors and fresh dishes. The restaurant also prepares many items in-house, including the baklava, hummus, pita bread, pickles, and more, reflecting a high level of dedication to quality.
