Beautiful setting, excellent service, food not as good as l remembered from past visits. We were a party of 5. Greeted and seated promptly and graciously. Servers were attentive but knowledge of the menu was short. They were very busy. The food, though it looked pretty good, tasted mundane. I only ate a third of mine , no one finished and no one in our party asked for a box. Hopefully it was just an off day, this restaurant is usually much better.

This review is only about the Audubon bar. The hotel is wonderful. The service was very lacking. Waiter seemed really out of it, brought me and my guest the wrong drinks. Finally after 15 min we received our drinks. When we mentioned this there was no apology just " well you did finally get the write drink didn't you". I will go back to give them another chance, but very disappointing as I do come here often.

The Arizona Inn is such a special place to stay in Tucson, the grounds are magnificent and it is a beautiful Historical Inn nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Midtown. However, this review is about the Audubon Bar & Restaurant because leaves so much to be desired. For the high prices and what you would expect to be an elevated experience, they have some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Every time I've been here for food or drinks, there are multiple team members working and service is exceptionally slow even when the dining room and patio are more than half empty. The bartenders make you feel like ordering a drink or taking a seat on their patio is an inconvenience. Expect to wait and know asking for help will be met with indifference. They will openly refuse to help others on their team, telling customers who inquire about extended waits to "wait for their server because they aren't working in that section". At $10+ a drink and $20+ a plate at lunchtime it's just not worth it. The food is good, but expensive and ultimately the dealbreaker is truly the customer service. This should be one of the busiest spots in town, if they implemented a high quality Happy Hour, had better service, and hosted events to draw in locals this could be one of the trendiest and most popular spots in town. I want to see this place succeed, so I hope they make some changes.

I'm not sure who these folks are with these horrible experiences lately? Our server was a top-notch professional! The cocktails were delicious. My burger was perfection. The Paperadelle pasta was flavorful. The piano player set a great mood in the bar. I'm not sure how the experience could have been better. So glad I ignored the recent reviews and went there to check it out for myself.

What a unique dining experience! Loved the beautiful historic ‘old Tucson' decor & building inside and out. Staff were professional and friendly. Food artful & delicious, prepared by experts. Thank you sincerely.

Tucson native here. Loved the Arizona inn however the breakfast place is awful. The restaurant Staff, whether true or not, appear to not want to be there and show it. They are not pleasant and extremely slow and rude service. Menu is mediocre. Yes , they are low on staff but so is every restaurant. I would avoid the breakfast spot there and go around town for way better service and way better food.

This hotel has been in Tucson forever, first time having breakfast and will be my last. The service is terrible, the look on the wait staff is very disappointing, they all look like they hate what they're doing. Totally lacking customer service!

Bar tender is offensive and rude will absolutely never go back there again. There was no need for the extra negative comment that she said specifically when people are drinking.

One of my very favorite places in Tucson! Their chicken salad is excellent, as is everything else I've tried. Don't miss the gift shop! You will find lovely items and outstanding service. This is Old Tucson at its best!

Very pleasant place, took my sister in law to lunch for her birthday. The best Reuben sandwich I've had in a long time with great potato salad, sis in law had a club & her daughter had a very tasty looking shrimp salad. Very nice waiters & overall excellent service. Lovely place, historic hotel.

Some friends and I met at the restaurant here for a Christmas luncheon. The main restaurant didn't appear open, but it was a lovely day and we sat out on the patio. Several ladies ordered a salad and a couple of us got sandwiches. All the food was very good, the ambiance lovely, our server helpful. The only drawback was the cost, seeming pretty high for what we got. It'd be nice if they had a lunch menu instead of just one menu for lunch and dinner. For a special occasion, it was nice.

A friend and I met for lunch here today after a 4-year absence and had a mixed experience. On the upside, our waiter proved to be one of the best I've had worldwide -- pleasant; knowledgeable about the offerings; attentive but not to the point of hovering; and helpful. The patio setting showed off the grounds beautifully with a lush green lawn, sporting a lovely border of flowers and the inn's distinctive salmon-colored buildings providing a backdrop. Only two other outside tables had customers at 11:45 a.m. and just one customer occupied a table inside. We seated ourselves and our waiter came immediately with menus and place settings. The menu seemed to be light on offerings, compared to our previous visit, but there certainly was enough from which to choose. I had been looking forward to a veggie burger, which had wowed me in the past, but this was no longer a possibility. Though we're aware that prices have gone up throughout Tucson, we considered $10 for a small bowl of soup and $20 for a basic quesadilla without additions for luncheon fare to be a tad costly. My friend chose vichyssoise soup and Brussels with panna cotta ($18); I opted for the quesadilla. She said her selections were excellent. I thought my choice was mediocre at best. The quesadilla, in three pieces, featured a huge amount of cheese that oozed from paper thin flour tortillas. Other ingredients, such as diced tomatoes, appeared on the side. I disliked both the taste and consistency and ate only a small amount. We each ordered a brownie for dessert, but neglected to ask the price. They proved to be fresh, delicious and quite rich and came with a few pieces of fruit. When the bill came, we learned that the brownies cost $12 each. With one coffee and a diet Coke, the final cost for lunch with tax and tip was $105, an amount that would keep me from returning unless it was a very special occasion. Currently (Dec. 6, 2022), the Audubon Bar is the only place, where the public can order breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Arizona Inn. No reservations are accepted. The inn's lovely dining room remains closed, likely because of a lack of necessary staff. Plenty of free parking exists -- a large lot and nearby street spaces, limited to 3 hours.

I have fond memories of this historic Tucson icon with many delicious meals through the years. However, lunch today was practically inedible. I ordered the Caesar Salad and was served mostly brown tinged chopped up romaine with very few edible pieces and tasteless bits of tomato. Frankly I should have sent this mess back. I'm shocked that this was even sent out from the kitchen! Our waiter was very good and it's not in my nature to make a fuss. However, this was unacceptable and I am incredibly disappointed. I left a voice mail for the food and beverage manager but of course, have not heard back. Shame on whoever thinks this was an acceptable plate of food to be served to a guest.
