The food here is absolutely delicious. After the first bite of my brussel sprouts side dish, I was convinced these were the best brussels I'd ever tasted--crisp and lightly seasoned with a beautiful presentation. I added a piece of salmon to my salad and the fish was perfectly prepared. The servers were lovely and attentive and the patio atmosphere was relaxing. I will definitely be back to experience fine food in this iconic Tucson setting.
The grounds and interior are beautiful. I had their specialty crispy brioche french toast with berries, while my husband had a create your own omelette, both very delicious. However, do not send anything back. The bacon was minimally cooked and limp. When we requested to cook the bacon a bit more, we received burnt, inedible bacon. Very disappointing.
First time since change of ownership; disappointing. At first things were good: service was prompt, explanation of the menu was thorough. But as the restaurant became busy, things went south. Food was slow coming out, and when it did, the lamb was tough and the fish slightly overcooked. Check-back was late in coming.
