Local owned Tucson Tavern! Met friends here for drinks, pool tables are well maintained and the bar is super clean, bartenders are knowledgeable and the drinks were fantastic! Everyone feels welcome here and the patio is cozy and welcoming! We will be coming back to for this local bar

An absolute Tucson gem. Open in this location since 1958, but operating since 1948, you absolute canāt pass up on of Tucson oldest and most charming dives. Fantastic pool tables, great company, and a good scene all around. A more relaxed, neighborhood-bar feel than other fare nearby. Donāt miss this cozy old-school dive with new-school management. Clean and comfortable setting thatās well worth a trip.

I used to come here all the time but Bay Horse was sold a while ago and ever since they have been so freaking rude that it completely ruins the vibe and makes it an experience where no one should have to sit through. The bartender was so sassy when we asked her basic questions that you could tell that she did not care about business. I am quite disappointed.

This place is comfortable, cozy and very decently priced . I love the patio , its dog friendly I bring my service dog with me and they give her treats and greet her like sheās tipping š¤£ itās under new ownership and management so if youāve had a less than stellar time in the past check it out again ! Pizza is great Karaoke nights with Darian ate getting very very popular and are a blast singing or not , some songs the whole bar sings together lol theyāve made several great improvements , itās always clean . Bartenders are GREAT . Vikki and Sonia , well all of them are great , but these two are amazing . But like i said theyāre all amazing now I just canāt remember the other young ladies name and Iām thinking about it to hard to come to me now lol but all great . Lots of welcoming regulars who become like family . Iāve only been coming regularly for about a year and I walk in and itās hugs , smiles , warm greetings like that cheers vibe . Such a diverse customer base , college kids , to industry workers . Travelers people of all ages and itās just nice how so many different people can be in one place and it still feel welcoming and personal . Thereās plenty of parking just park on the side of building but next to dispensary. Couple of pool tables lots of great seating and an amazing always clean patio where youāll get lost in conversation for hours . Only bummer is they close at 1am and itās such a fun place Iād love to have the extra hour . For real if you need human interaction and are a little shy stop in and strike up a conversation everyoneās great a lot of regulars will make sure you have a good time and are safe . A lot of the bad reviews are from the old owners and disgruntled customers who think itās ok to trash a business because they simply didnāt like rules or being cut off for their own safety . But come on in on a karaoke night with darian for a high energy fun night or on nights where you can vibe to an extensive jukebox, shoot a game of pool and relax outside for a quieter area for conversation . Cocktails are great and cheaper than most and great selection of beer on tap and bottled . You will have a good time I promise , if youāre shy and see me big tall guy with little black service dog whoās adorable , come say hello ! Iād be glad to talk to you and introduce you to other incredible regulars that will make you feel at home . Iāve made some great friends this year with the direction of the new owners this place is top choice in the neighborhood for me ! Hope this helps shape an honest review of this place instead of the ones where u can obviously tell itās something personal lol most days youāll see the owner and manager on site , very hands on and a delight . Great plane for this neighborhood! ā¦ā¦.one more thing . Over the winter I had some serious health issues and needed to be hospitalized for a little bit and was holding off . One of the bartenders, who sadly just moved to Portland , volunteered to take my dog in while I was in the hospital and send me pictures and videos to make me happy while I was in there, and I barely knew her at the time just a few friendly conversations and just being a regular at the bar and then when I tried to pay her, she refused to accept any money so I had to leave a large tip to force her to take what she deserves even on her last day she covered my tab that had two drinks on it not that expensive but the gesture which is so kind and thatās the kind of bartenders youāll find at this bar now that itās under new management thereās not one bartender thatās like oh donāt go around that night. They are all a delight and welcoming. Just wanted to share that because it meant a lot to me because Iām very attached to my dog and leaving her with somebody that genuinely loved her felt good and I have now made a lifelong friend her and her fiancĆ© are doing great in Portland and I canāt wait to see them for Christmas
