With the closure of the Bagel Joint, north/northwest Tucson was in desperate need of a signature bagel place. Bubbe's expansion to River Rd was most welcome and has not disappointed.Their standard rotation bagels are always well cooked, a bit of crunch on the outside with some volume inside. Their cream cheese is light and included without hesitation - no skimping on the dollops. The breakfast sandwiches, should you choose to go that path, are huge. Some even make a good meal for two. For a special treat, don't hesitate to try their limited offerings of special bagel or cream cheese varieties! Their strawberry cream cheese was chefs kiss.Bubbe's has become my families go to, with no chance of changing any time soon.

Bubble’s has the best bagels in Tucson and the spreads are superb. It is small, we had to seat outside in these small tables, oh well. The employees could not be nicer. The bathroom is immaculate, a very rare thing for a food business.

A nice small shop with a wide variety of bagels and assorted necessities. The bagels were delicious. I'm giving their sandwiches a try next time.The place was clean and busy, which we all know is a good thing. Parking is tight but workable.

got the honey lavender shmear on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel! SO GOOD. fast and deff a to-go type of place but i'm on the hunt to find the best bagels in arizona and so far, these have topped my list.
These are the best bagels I’ve had in Tucson, very NY style, they are so nice and chewy I don’t even want it toasted! They are also very generous with the spreads, I usually ask for light on the spread!

All bagels are not created equal and Bubbe's is a huge step above the big chain store bagels I've had before. The storefront isn't large but there is some indoor and outdoor seating. I had a jalapeño and cheddar bagel with the chive smear and it was amazing. They are VERY generous with their cream cheese and the bagel had an amazing bite to the exterior and pillowy soft interior. They have all the time tested classic bagels and smears but they have some unique ones like honey/ lavender or cannoli filling. They serve bagel sandwiches and I'm looking forward to trying an egg salad sandwich sometime soon. My wife loves their lox.
