We came to Tucson from Phoenix to pickup some parts for my brothers Jeep, and we were looking for a good place to eat. To say that this place is good is merely an understatement, the food was delicious, we ordered 1/2 pound of carnitas and 4 quesabirrias and we were amazed at the size and taste of the quesadilla, and the carnitas come with handmade corn tortillas, Excellent. I was looking for best red menudo near me and this place came up. I was saddened to hear they didn't serve menudo, but so glad I ate here. The tacos I had were amazing. My order was the birria, carnitas, and mixed pork which came to about $15 with tip, beverage, tax. The service was fast and friendly. The place isn't the nicest place to grab Mexican, but it's great food. I believe I was the only non native Spanish speaker in the restaurant which is a good sign of a Mexican restaurant.
