The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard with chocolate ice cream was delicious! The staff was nice and the store was clean.

Pure nostalgia with this Dairy Queen location! While the exterior has gotten a slight face lift, they left all the good parts of the OG DQ's including the iconic red and white metal umbrellas and window ordering, no speakers here! In town for business and colleague was craving a blizzard, so after dinner we of course tracked down the nearest DQ and ended up in the drive thru here. For those who have never experienced an old school DQ, you review the menu and then pull the window to order, then you swing around to the other window for your order. Nothing special about it but the memories! As mentioned in many reviews, this place doesn't have to be staffed up to be efficient, as there were only two ice cream professionals working when we pulled up to the window and tossed an order for 4 blizzard in. One window to the next only took about 4 minutes. Only removal of a star comes from one of the blizzards being wrong. We ordered a mud slide blizzard, which is an off menu item, and were given a mud pie(?). Turns out the mud pie was still tasty, but not what we were after. Other than that, and actually including that, the blizzards were phenomenal and made us a very happy and full car of adults!

Don't bother paying the 79cents for whip cream, you get about a teaspoon or less. ?

This is the worst Dairy Queen location in Tucson. The people that work there are rude. They don't listen to your order, they don't use sanitary procedures when making your item, they are always out of basic ingredients, they never put lids on items, and when you ask them to put lids on your items or for a carrier they act as if you are inconveniencing them. They are way too expensive for what you get. I got sick after eating a blizzard. I will never go to this location again.

I think it’s really great that the owner hires so many teenagers with special needs. With enough training, they’ll eventually learn how to get your order right. Kudos to you guys.

Two teenage young men running a very busy DQ = a long wait to order, a long wait to pick up, and sloppily, barely blended Blizzards. Not to mention just under $11 for two mini (smallest available) Blizzards.Probably not going back to this DQ.

As you know, I'm addicted to those Royal NY cheesecake blizzards. I don't often go to other Dairy Queens except for the one on 22nd Street. I ended up at the Tanque Verde location because it happened to be close to my destination. This was last night, Sunday July 2nd. The staff were friendly but my blizzard had very little strawberries in it, no graham crackers and almost no cheesecake chunks. I was annoyed by this, paying $10 for basically straight vanilla ice cream, but had no time to complain, I was in a hurry. So I give 3 stars because the staff was friendly but I think there needs to be better training for staff members if they're handing out certain flavors that don't necessarily contain any of the flavor.

Waited in the drive-thru line for over 10 minutes with 5 cars ahead of me, a party of 2 or 3 people inside waiting (they were still inside when I was able to, thankfully, get out of the line and drive away), and a line of cars forming behind me on the road. Nothing moving. Only 2 staff members that I could see on this hot and busy middle-of-the-week *ahem* TUCSON evening - a heat surge of 3 days when temps were over 105+... why wouldn't this DQ owner come down and help out? Or get some more staff? I understand it's hard finding workers right now, everywhere, yet this isn't the first time service has been slow. I've come through as the only car on more than one evening over the past year - and it's taken 10+ minutes to buy just a plain medium vanilla cone. I keep trying... thinking it's just a one-off that they're short-staffed, but when I pull up there's no one in the front, whoever is there appears from the back, and doesn't seem all that happy to see me. It is disappointing. *I see great reviews that have been put up recently, and I'd love to have that same experience :-/

Just asked for a lid for my blizzard and the young girl with brown hair gave me the worst eye roll and attitude. It was unbelievable. Totally unacceptable
